If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your order, please return the items to us, and we will gladly ship the exchange for free or refund you the full cost of the products.
To receive the exchange you desire, we recommend you order the items online to ensure they do not go out of stock. We will credit your credit card upon receipt of the returned merchandise.
To return an item to Backcountrycorp.com, please follow these steps:
1. Create a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) by contacting our customer service at 800-409-4502. You will need your order number, found in the upper right hand corner of your invoice below the date. An RMA# is not required, but it does expedite processing the exchange/refund.
2. Next, box up the items you’re returning, with the product tags included, and use the bottom portion on the backside of the invoice to explain in detail the reason for the return/exchange. Please include order and RMA numbers.

Once we receive the returned item, we will either ship you the exchanged item (unless you have already ordered it online) or issue you a full refund for the product. If we mis-shipped your order, we will gladly incur the cost for return UPS Ground shipping (allow 2-6 business days.) Please call us to request a return label at 800-409-4502.
Please be aware that we cannot accept returns on climbing gear, food, or mounted skis. If you’re returning a kayak, shipping can cost in excess of $500.
